The financial help lines to our economies, or… ?

Are we really pinning our hopes on the money injected for resuscitation of our economies? It sounded good to some I guess… The economy is broke and we should get borrowing so that in time the money starts circulating and the “economy” starts going, right?  We heard grave threats that if this won’t be forthcoming we would collapse and the consequences for the “little man and woman” will be grave.  Hell, it’s a good deal, some austerity and a silver cloud beyond which lies a rainbow.

The problem is there is nothing to (re)start, no money thrown at fat bankers is going to get us anywhere…  No, the horrible truth is that most of the manufacturing, fabrication, and even knowledge has already ebbed out of our pool and sank firmly into China, India and other countries that have a large pool poor slave labour to replace the traditional working class.  This endangered species that is being either slowly mutating into silent and uneducated call centres slaves or “unemployable”, “lazy” or “manipulative” parasites on meagre resources, or made to fight for less and less well paid scraps of jobs in competition of poor migrants.

Profit margins fly high for some big cooperation with the right stakes in the most profitable industries left here, oil, gas and of course, weapons…  The truth is, of course, that we are redistributing wealth to keep them afloat and here lies the ring of truth to the blood sucking “benefit” vampires, only they are just a mirror for what happens way up above them; and so here we are lamenting the growing racism and even blaming this, that, them, but the real clock is ticking.

Don’t be surprised when the rainbow is reached, the last stop is some post-modern hell of feudalism.
