Human Love - By Aristophanes

In the beginning there were three parents: Sun, Moon, and Earth. Each produced an offspring, round and otherwise like itself. From sun was produced the man; from earth, the woman; from moon, the androgyne. Each of these three was a double, one head with two faces looking out in opposite directions, four arms and legs, and two sets of genitalia. They moved about on the earth with a great deal more freedom and power than humans do now, for they rolled-ran hand over hand and foot over foot at double speed.

One day, these fast, powerful, but foolish creatures decided to scale Mt. Olympus to attack the gods.

So Zeus decided to punish them but splitting them apart: they were cut in half, and become half as fast and half as strong. Then they begun frantically to look for their other halves, seeking them out, embracing them, and trying to join together again. Unable to join, the creatures despaired and began to starve to death in their sorrow.

Zeus instructed Apollo to create a means to rejoin temporarily which he did by turning the genitals to the belly side of the body. The creatures who had been double women before, naturally sought out women; those who had been androgynous, sought out members of the opposite gender; those who had been double men, sought out the company of men, and not simply for intercourse, but so they could become whole again by being rejoined with their soul mates.

Weeping in black and wiping the blood

Black crocodile tears
And poisoned knives
Hidden behind small cloths
Of crafty woven care
of abandoned mad suffering
of righteous toil
of motherly misguided passions
Knives prepared even to kill
and slice the still living flesh
and cut deeper after death
Weeping in black
And wiping the blood

Pepper Spray for us + Bubble bursting

Dont you just just love our ConDem government? David Cameron announced that first time buyers will be able to buy with 5% deposit the home of their dreams because the government will act on our behalf as a grantor for toxic assets…  Lofty lovely home affordable at last, everyone’s dream come true, the Conservatives can be kind and sensitive to the people’s needs… Right?

OH WAIT!!!!! So, tax payers will be now responsible (meaning we)!!! LOVELY, its like PEPPER SPRAYING us with your toxic waste from the Banks. No wonder the UK banks LOVE the idea! So we just moved the responsibility of that sector into our own pockets, think about it…  What will the banks do will all their toxic assets? Just pepper spray them into the citizens pockets and future… Perfect solution!

Wait, there’s more, Cameron is going to inject 400 Million pounds to property developers (meaning friends of the establishment wining nice contracts) developing housing on what is considered by the market as UNECONOMICAL! Uh, isn’t that market manipulation? Its NOT a free market system, its monopoly cooperate oligarchy that is taking shape. Result: another short term bubble (like in Ireland) that will burst and need a bail out in a few years. Feel good now, pay triple later!  But listen to the softy fluffy words of the government you would have it believe your dream is just a step closer, but the nightmare would be just around the corner is the small print.  Is this what we elected to do to ourselves?

Utopia

Utopia -  A word coined by Sir Thomas More for his 1516 book Utopia - he combined two Greek words, Eutopia - meaning a good place and Outopia - no where/place. He imagined in his book a Utopic island in the Atlantic ocean where property was owned collectively and people lived according to rational and enlightened ideals. The idea and dream of Utopia inspires many people to dream and act to make the world about a better place, the dream is ancient, already Aristophanes dreamt of a floating city in the sky in his play The Birds… Thomas More lost his head for that dream, and it seems our governments now are more and more trying to get into our heads for merely daring to dream…  Brutalising has by now become an art of deception - it has reversed the premise; the dreamers are seen as vandals disturbing the right to dream away the reality of oppression and economic exploitation through heavily tainted glasses manufactured for the masses by the %1.  Where is Utopia? It is everywhere and that is what scares the elite, so be a dreamer…

The #Church and #OccupyLSX - Exposing the 1%

So many people ask me why the Anglican Church is so divided about Occupy LSX? SO, WHY, REALLY? Well first consider where Occupy London is physically most represented: St. Paul’s Square.   The Cathedral is supported by Goldman Sachs and many financial institutions, and it costs £14.50 to visit St. Paul’s, yes very charitable. Many of the clergy sit on committees which work with the big banks of the city, furthermore the Church is directly involved with the Cooperation of London, a semi medieval body that is extremely right wing and ruthless.

The Church of England furthermore invests people’s money in the big banks and investment funds - in other words, it PROFITS from the capitalist system’s OPPRESSION of people. It actually MADE money in the financial crisis, and NOT A LOSS! Ok, so they take a small percentage and invest it back in people… Speaking of investment, by the way, the Church recently made a huge profit selling its social housing. God Bless. Still surprised it is deeply divided?

Show us the cash!!!
